Ask a Simple Question Get a Simple Answer with CircleUp
“How do you poll multiple people via email?” Send the question out to 10 colleagues, invariably get 30 replies back and you dig through the banter to try and get a consensus of opinion. CircleUp proposes a solution anytime you need to compile opinion, get feedback or even get the answer to a simple “chicken or fish” poll from multiple brains. The service facilitates delivery of your question to your targets, driving recipients to the web to enter their answer without bothering you with all the noise and discussion in email. You can then review the responses on one page and (hopefully) get a clear answer.

This would have served us well with our team name poll.
Cool! This is much more robust that the simple poll built into Blogger.
CircleUp could be used by our group or the embeddable CircleUp widget could be used on the Intranet for information gathering.
What a great way to avoid those avalanches of email and get good information when you ask a simple question.
I think our blogger poll was fine since we should all be checking this blog anyway.
I see this product mainly useful for those who are uncomfortable with anything that is not email.
I too like the widget as an option for our Intranet and perhaps even our Web sites.
