Hello L2Crew and Happy Anniversary! Can you believe that next month will mark our one year anniversary? To think of all the things we have accomplished for BPL and the things we have learned is quite mind bending. You guys are the best and I have really enjoyed spending time this year getting to know you all and learning with and from you. As Michelangelo said "I am still learning" and I hope to continue to learn with all of you.
However, I know some of you may be ready to pursue other areas of work and I understand that. So, if there is anyone who wants to move on to something else just let me know. We will wish you well and give you a well-deserved pat on the back. Of course ... I am hoping that you all will stay and continue to learn with me and create and explore too.
L2Crew ROCKS! (I sound like a nerd, don't I?)

Can't believe it's been a year. Hmmm, you sound like you're trying to get rid of us. If you want to be selfish and hog all the work, then be that way. I'll just quit and go back to pulling DVDs out of a metal suitcase until retirement.
Me selfish? No way! You guys do far too much work for me to want to take over everything. I just don't believe in a person having to serve a life sentence on a committee just because they did a fantastic job while on the committee. I wanted you all to know that it is ok to leave the L2Crew if you are tired or ready to try some other challenge and that you will not be penalized for leaving the group. Tressa are you telling me that you want to be able to focus more time toward pulling dvds? ;)
Melinda, when I started my library journey back in 1989, I always knew it would be my destiny to pull DVDs out of a metal suitcase. It is a time-consuming passion of mine, so I do believe I'll have to opt out of the L2 Crew this time around. Perhaps we'll work together in the future.
