Google Maps - Some Information About What Goes On Behind the Scenes

As an aside, I think a really great (and really difficult) project for the L2Crew would be the creation of an Augmented Reality application for IOS and Android devices pointing out historical locations around the city and tying GPS locations to our digital collections. (Since I brought it up, I will do some research on this idea.)
