Jing

Kathy, please take a look at this site and tell me what you think of Jing. I haven't had time to look too closely at it, but it looks like a good product. I'd like to create a short video using screenshots for ILL instruction and I'm sure I'll need your help. I hope you'll make time for me later when I have a chance to start on it.

I will take a look at it. I am teaching a class this morning so I won't be able to look at it until after lunch. I'll be more than happy to help.

No problem. Just take your time. I'm off today and after Wednesday will be on weekend time until the following Monday. It'll be a while before I can look real closely at it.

Just try it when you have time and I'll do the same and maybe you can help me create my first video when you have time.

Thanks for your help. :)

Today, I began experimenting with a similar screencasting web app, Screencast-o-matic (www.screencast-o-matic.com)

No installation on this one. It is all web based.

I think I will try to record the Camera Clinic on it. Once recorded, the resulting tutorial can be uploaded to the site for hosting or downloaded as a QuickTime file. I will let everyone know if it works.
